(R) Congressman Garret Graves - District 6 President Trump’s threat to not sign the $900 Billion Bipartisan COVID Relief Bill took Republican Congressman Garret Graves by surprise. Trump called the bill a disgrace and asked Congress to amend the bill and increase stimulus checks from $600 to $2000. Graves said Trump’s objections are baffling. “He went through the funds to Cambodia, Burma, the Egyptian military, the funds for Pakistan and Central America, the Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian, the National Gallery, all those things, every single one of them were his requests,” said Graves. Graves said Trump’s about-face in last night’s taped speech regarding the Relief Bill is surprising because it is very well documented that his objections were requests his administration wanted in the bill.
