Congressman Dan Crenshaw claimed his Twitter account had been breached after someone flagged that he was following an escort on the platform.
Zachary Petrizzo, a reporter with Mediaite, shared a screenshot online yesterday which showed Crenshaw s account was one of more 13,000 followers on the page.
Within hours Crenshaw had replied, telling people to grow up and that he had changed his password - appearing to claim his account had been hacked.
The escort account belongs to a woman in New York City who goes by the name of Olivia May on her profile, which is private and people must request to follow her before they can see her content.

America’s six leading veterans organizations have joined together to demand the resignation of the secretary of veterans affairs after a federal investigation found he aimed to discredit a female veteran who filed a sexual harassment claim instead of properly investigating the matter.
In a letter to President Donald Trump this week, the heads of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, AMVETS, Vietnam Veterans of America, and Paralyzed Veterans of America demanded that he remove VA Secretary Robert Wilkie from his post.
“His actions not only threaten to deter veterans from seeking care at VA, but also undermine the efforts of VA staff who have been working to bring an end to sexual harassment throughout the department,” the groups wrote.

Congressman Dan Crenshaw made waves with his Texas Reloaded Campaign ad during the General Election, which featured numerous candidates running for Congress in various districts in Texas.
