Is anyone tracking if any vaccinated people have died? Also, has anyone even tried to estimate when Florida s death numbers will subside? It seems impossible to believe that we’re all just sitting here waiting for the ticker to go down, someone has to be trying to map this out.
Bottom Line: The recent news of Congressman Stephen Lynch testing positive for COVID-19 after completing the two-dose schedule for the Pfizer vaccine sparked a bunch of questions like this one. But here’s the thing we should be mindful of before getting into how many vaccinated people may have died of the virus. We know that the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are approximately 95% effective in combating COVID-19. BOSTON Rep. Stephen Lynch is the second Massachusetts congressperson to self-quarantine this week after testing positive for COVID-19.
The Democrat, who represents the 8th District, which includes Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree, several precincts in Milton, Canton, Cohasset, Holbrook and Stoughton in Norfolk County, as well as Hingham, Hull and in Plymouth Country, said he tested positive for the virus after a staff member tested positive earlier in the week.
Lynch s office said he is asymptomatic and feels fine. Lynch had received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine and subsequently received a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending President Biden’s Inauguration, his office said.

Massachusetts Congressman Stephen Lynch announced through his office on Friday that he tested positive for coronavirus despite getting his second vaccine dose, which requires a few weeks to develop immunity.
Spokesperson Molly Rose Tarpey said in a statement that Lynch tested positive for the coronavirus after coming in contact with a staff member in his Boston office who tested positive earlier that week, reported CBS News.
