Almost one third of Irish office workers (30pc) say they feel more vulnerable to cybersecurity attacks when homeworking, according to a survey of 500 office workers carried out by Censuswide on behalf of Data Solutions.
More than half (57pc) of respondents say their company has not provided additional security training to prepare them for working from home and a similar proportion say they use their own personal devices to work from home.
Furthermore, a fifth say they have shared or stored work documents on personal devices, which could leave companies vulnerable on GDPR compliance and cybersecurity.
One in ten respondents also revealed that they had been targeted by cybercriminals since working from home.
