VANCOUVER - British Columbia s health minister promised to do better on Monday after call centres to schedule vaccine appointments were overwhelmed on the first day of booking.

This is the day that people age 90 and over and indigenous people 65 and over can start booking their covid-19 vaccine shots if they have not had one already. To book an appointment call 1-877-740-7747 between 7am and 7pm, seven days a week. Interior health is opening up 49 clinics and you will be told which one to go to. You’ll need to provide your name, date of birth, personal health number and contact information when you call. Full info here
More roadwork for Glenrosa residents for the next 3 months. Starting today crews will close Glenrosa Road from Morningside to Webber and McIver Road from Glenrosa to McTaggart. Some lanes will be reopened after work hours and on weekends as the work involves sidewalks, storm sewers, curbs, streetlights and some road improvements.
According to a report published by the BCCDC Feb. 15, there are 268 patients at Cottonwoods. Of those, 220 were vaccinated against COVID-19, amounting to 82 per cent of the population.
