End Of An Era: Sony Just Announced They’re Stopping Production Of The PS5
Get ready to experience a roller coaster of emotions, Sony diehards. In a press conference early Thursday morning, the Japanese console maker ushered in the end of an era with the bittersweet announcement that they will stop production of the PlayStation 5.

Wow, gamers. We knew something like this might be coming, but that doesn’t make it any less painful to know that this historic period in video game history is finally coming to a close.
“It was a wild ride, but all good things must come to an end,” said a visibly emotional Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida, pausing several times to collect himself while announcing the momentous decision to cease manufacturing the console. “We want to thank the designers and the game makers. But most of all we want to thank the fans for everything they did to make this the most incredible three months in our company’s history.”

Google Shouldn t Give Up on Stadia Now That It s Getting Good

When Google launched its cloud gaming service, Stadia, back in November 2019, we were impressed by the concept but the execution was lacking. Close to a year and a half after its debut, Stadia has slowly gained the features Google boasted about initially, bringing it closer to the service it has the potential to be. Stadia is nowhere near perfect, and Google still has some work to do, but it’s a much better service today than it was at launch.

The news that Google decided to get out of the business of making original games for Stadia prompted some to question whether the service is long for this world. So we decided to reevaluate Stadia to see if it has a future. Obviously we don’t have a crystal ball, but after thoroughly diving in to see what strides Google has made since Stadia’s launch, we still think it has potential if Google doesn’t give up on it altogether.

Bajaj Electricals Ltd surged 18.44% to Rs 909.5 at 11:48 IST. The stock was the biggest gainer in the BSE s A group. On the BSE, 1.22 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 47329 shares in the past one month.
State Bank of India spiked 12.73% to Rs 400.3. The stock was the second biggest gainer in A group. On the BSE, 65.87 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 31.8 lakh shares in the past one month.
Internet streaming device Fire TV users in India doubled consumption of entertainment content during their stay at home in 2020 with movies, cricket, online gaming and music gaining traction, Amazon said in a report on Sunday. Over half of Mirzapur season 2 viewers finished watching the show within 48 hours of its release, Disney+ Hotstar viewership increased 50 per cent during IPL 2020 and Amazon Prime Music streaming grew more than 35 per cent on Fire TV devices, according to the report. With people spending more time at home, total hours spent by active customers on Fire TV devices more than doubled in 2020. Moreover, customers spent more than three hours per day on their Fire TV devices through 2020, the report said.
