TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) A concert this weekend will help ensure local families with babies have access to diapers.
The first ever “Huggie Luv Fest” will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday at Meadows Shopping Center in Terre Haute to raise funds for Covered with Love, Inc., a local non-profit that helps provide diapers to struggling families.
“Musicians Giving Back” will host the event scheduled from noon to 9 p.m. outside Meadows Shopping Center. Several bands will be featured.
Admission to the all-day concert will be $10 or a package of diapers. Covered with Love board member Karen Long said it’s important to keep their shelves stocked because one in three families struggles to afford diapers.
