Monmouth County partners with Monmouth Medical Center, Brookdale to provide vaccination site
The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners held a joint press conference with representatives of Monmouth Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, and Brookdale Community College on Jan. 22 to announce their partnership to provide a vaccination site at Brookdale Community College’s Robert J. Collins Arena in Lincroft.
“I am very excited to announce the county’s partnership with Brookdale and Monmouth Medical Center to provide this vaccination site for our residents,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - A cancer patient who had an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine showed up on time, to be told they were out.
Lisa Gruner took her 91-year-old mother Cade Smith to the Madison County Health Department on Monday for her COVID-19 vaccine after Smith spent the weekend in the hospital.
âShe got really dehydrated and sick from the chemo and stuff,â Gruner said. âWe got out of the hospital and got to the health department at 3:05 for our 3:15 p.m. appointment and the parking lot was empty. They had given all the vaccines away for the day.â

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - The Wichita Falls – Wichita County Public Health District could be moving toward an automated online sign-up system when it comes to COVID-19 vaccines.
The system is called Luminare and the hope is that it will reduce the overall time between vaccine arrival and the actual vaccination process.
Health Director Lou Kreidler says she is excited about the possibility of the system coming to Wichita Falls.
