Vodafone Ghana Foundation Climax 4-Kindred Projects With The Commissioning Of A Computer Lab For Ofankor M/A 3 JHS

  The Vodafone Ghana Foundation has climaxed its 4-Kindred projects with the commissioning of a Computer Laboratory for the Ofankor M/A 3 JHS pupils at Ofankor in the Greater Accra Region.   The Computer Laboratory project was the fourth and final of the Vodafone Kindred initiative to aid pupils of Ofankor M/A 3in the study of Information Communication Technology (ICT).   Speaking at the handing-over of the project to the school, Head of Vodafone Ghana Foundation Amaris Nana Perbi said it was gratifying to able to complete these projects to help these communities.   “Vodafone Ghana Foundation came up with the Kindred Month initiative as part of its impactful journey to improve the livelihoods of individuals and communities across the country. MTN Ghana Foundation, as part of its Corporate Social Investment, has donated Protective Personal Equipment (PPEs), to the St Gregory Catholic Hospital at Buduburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region. The PPE included 2,000 nose masks, 10 cartons of gloves, 15 pieces of contactless thermometers, 1,000 pieces of face shields and 30 gallons of methylated spirits. Speaking to reporters after the donation, the Chief Customer Relations Officer of MTN Ghana, Jemima Kotei Walsh, said the donation formed part of  programmes outlined by the MTN Ghana Foundation to support hospitals and frontline health workers across the country to help them fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Foundation since the start of 2021 has continued to provide support to health institutions and senior high schools as they remain committed to aiding government in the fight against the Covid-19. On the back of donations to the Tema General Hospital and the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in April, the MTN Ghana Foundation has this week made a stop at Buduburam in Kasoa to extend a helping hand to health workers at the St. Gregory Catholic Hospitals.
