Kwesi Pratt has slammed government over the current irregular electricity supply in the nation.
Some communities in the Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions have been listed by the Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) to experience power cuts for months.
The company says it is undertaking maintenance works on some lines.
The current power outages have become a matter of concern with some Ghanaians fearing the era of dumsor has resurfaced but the government says this situation cannot be likened to the dumsor situation under the regime of former President John Mahama.
But to Kwesi Pratt, whether it is dumsor or not is inconsequential.

The Volta River Authority (VRA) has begun an ambitious move to drive down the cost of power in the country through innovation and digitisation, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the authority, Mr Emmanuel Antwi-Darkwa, has said.
The move, he said, would help boost economic activities and ensure the competitiveness of Ghanaian businesses.
“Innovation and digitisation will be the major enablers of the business, so we are preparing ourselves for the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other technology advancements that will manifest globally,” he said.
Digitisation, he said, would facilitate the integration of the other sources of clean energy into Ghana’s power generation mix and help the VRA better monitor and maintain its generation assets for improved, stable and reliable power operations.

The Bulk Power Supply (BPS) point being constructed at Pokuase in the Greater Accra Region is 95 per cent complete and on schedule to be handed over to the government by the end of July this year.
According to the site engineers, all other ancillary facilities to support the full function of the system had been completed.
The Technical Controller at the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA), Mr William Amuna, gave the assurance when and the team working on the project received the Minister of Energy, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh, on a visit to the project site last Tuesday.
Mr Amuna said but for the outbreak of the COVID-19 in Ghana, which he said had forced the suspension of work for a while and delayed the supply of materials from China, the project would have been completed earlier.
