The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 18300 block of Wild Lilac Trail in the Eagle Springs neighborhood, authorities said. Surveillance video shows the moment a white, 2-door, older-model Honda Civic backs into a driveway, a woman gets out and takes a package from the doorstep. The woman is described as white or Hispanic and with long hair. In the video, she was wearing shorts and a black shirt.

According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, a deputy responded to the 20000 block of Champion Forest where they encountered two men who both ran away when authorities arrived. The deputy was able to chase down one suspect, identified as Brian Long. According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, Long had an open warrant for theft out of the Tomball Police Department.

ATASCOCITA, Texas (KTRK) An Atascocita father has been charged with abandoning and endangering a child with intent to return after deputies found an 8-year-old in poor conditions earlier this week. On Tuesday, Dec. 22, deputies with Constable Mark Herman s Office responded to the 18900 block of Timbers Drive for a welfare check of an 8-year-old boy. According to court records, a neighbor called deputies, stating that the 8-year-old had come to her home twice that day asking for food, and that it was an ongoing issue. The neighbor said the child often comes to her house saying he is hungry and doesn t know where his parents are.

SPRING, Texas (KTRK) A man and a woman have been charged after four kids were found injured and malnourished in Spring. On Dec. 11, 2020, deputies with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable s office said they responded to the 1000 block of Imperial Lake Drive regarding a welfare check. Upon arrival, deputies were told by a witness that an 8-year-old boy approached her in her garage and stated he needed help. The witness told deputies the child asked if he could stay with her as well. At the scene, deputies noticed the 8-year-old had a bloody nose, busted lip, was not wearing a shirt or shoes, and appeared to be injured and malnourished. The boy reportedly told deputies he was living under a bridge and did not know where his parents were.
