Russell has Mercedes-inspired updates for Williams

George Russell returned from his Mercedes experience with a few suggestions for Williams to lift them up the Formula 1 ladder.
Russell filled in for Lewis Hamilton at the Sakhir Grand Prix after the seven-time World Champion tested positive for COVID-19, and he certainly did not disappoint.
After putting the W11 P2 on the grid, Russell would take the lead from team-mate Valtteri Bottas at the first corner and build up a gap out front from there with only a mix-up in the pits, where he was given Bottas’ front tyres, and then a puncture costing Russell a golden opportunity at a first career win in Formula 1.
Domenicali to simplify ‘Bible-like’ regulations

Incoming president of the Formula One Group, Stefano Domenicali, wants to simplify the technical and sporting regulations.
One of the major battlegrounds will be the current generation of V6 turbo-hybrid engines which have been criticised both for their complexity and cost, but are here to stay for the foreseeable future, even if the new power units are brought forward a year to 2025.
Honda will leave Formula 1 at the end of 2021, leaving just Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault as PU manufacturers with little chance of any other supplier entering the sport under the current regulations.
