KLUANG: A woman and her five-month-old baby girl were killed after their car rammed into a tree at KM74.3 of the Johor Baru - Ayer Hitam road here.
OCPD Asst Comm Low Hang Sen said the victim, identified as B. Nagaranjini, 25, suffered serious head injuries while her baby G. Varsha, was thrown out of the car due to the impact.
He said the woman s son G. Trishikan, six, and her husband B. Guna, 40, were also injured during the incident, which took place at about 11.40pm on Thursday (Jan 14). The car, driven by the victim s husband, was heading towards Johor Baru from Ayer Hitam.
