Taupō Historic Grand Prix celebrating Ford meeting will know exactly what to expect, says NZ F5000 Association organising committee member Glenn Richards.

Fogg, one of New Zealand’s most experienced racing
drivers, isn’t letting this weekend’s clash of dates
between the Taupō Historic GP and the New Zealand Grand
Prix get in the way of his passion for driving historic
racing cars.
With help from the Historic GP organisers
and some of his friends in the burgeoning Historic Sports
Sedan and Allcomers (HSS&A) Association, Fogg will be
helicoptering south from the Hampton Downs circuit after the
first Central Muscle Cars race on Saturday morning to take
in the HSS&A race at the Taupō Historic GP at Bruce

Multiple New Zealand Touring Car Champion,
endurance winner and the current FIA Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy
Series champ Simon Evans will become one of the series
highest profile racers when he steps aboard a Toyota 86 for
a shot at the 2021 Best Bars Toyota 86 Championship this
coming season.
Simon Evans is a proven
talent and is keen to add the Best Bars Toyota 86
Championship title to his resumé.

This
weekend’s Taupō Historic GP celebrates Ford’s near
60-year involvement in New Zealand motorsport.
It is
therefore fitting that Ford racing legend, Paul Fahey, will
be present to pass-on three trophies he is donating for the
trophy race for Ford historic saloon cars on Sunday
afternoon.
Donated by Fahey to the flourishing NZ
Historic Muscle & Saloon Car Association, the Paul Fahey
Ford Trophies will be permanently named in his honour and
awarded each year from now on to the drivers of the Fords in
