Communications technology company Uniguest has acquired a Florida company that specializes in digital signs. Terms of Nashville-based Uniguest’s deal for Janus Displays aren’t being disclosed. Janus traces its roots to the 1984 founding of Morrow Technologies, which made LED displays and circuit boards and got its big break when it landed a contract with Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. Today, Janus markets its wayfinding and other digital signage services to hotels Four Season, Marriott and Hyatt locations among them as well as hospitals, universities, military bases and casinos around the world. “We have followed the Janus Displays business for many years and have been very impressed with their solution portfolio and excellent service reputation,” Uniguest CEO Jeff Hiscox said in a statement. “The Janus Displays team will add immediate value to our hospitality division and we’re really excited to integrate them under the Uniguest umbrella.”
