Two men have been convicted for the distressing homophobic abuse (Envato)
Two men have been convicted for a vile “unprovoked attack” on a shop worker who was threatened with homophobic abuse.
Nathan Jones, 34, and Shaun Aston, 26, spat the slurs “f t” and “batty boy” at the victim on 27 February as he worked at the One Stop Shop in Cardiff, Wales.
Jones had already been banned from the shop for a previous offence,
Wales Onlinereported. Both men appeared to be drunk as they entered and began aggressively abusing the staff member for no reason.
Both men were ordered to leave but refused to step outside, the court was told. At this point they launched into a homophobic tirade with Jones calling the victim a “ginger c ” while invading his personal space.

A man threatened his estranged cousin with a farrier knife after accusing her family of stealing his father s £400,000 inheritance. Lex Littlewood, 55, entered the home of Jane James in Ebbw Vale on April 4 and began ranting, saying he was going to kill her after her mother had robbed his father of a significant sum of money. He was removed from the house by family members but said: I am going to come back and kill you.

A benefit fraudster claimed more than £39,000 illegally despite having savings of thousands of pounds which he set aside for his teenage daughter. Paul Reynolds, 59, of Newport, failed to declare savings of £30,000 to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Newport council and illegally received employment support allowance (ESA) and housing benefit between 2013 and 2018.
When the benefit system changed in 2012 he was required to provide his circumstances but he told the authorities he did not have any bank accounts and only possessed a Post Office account which had a balance of nil. The defendant also denied having any savings exceeding the maximum amount of £5,500
