Penarth man admits going equipped for theft A MAN was sentenced to a 12-month community order after he pleaded guilty to going equipped for theft with a crowbar, gloves, torch and tool set. Geraint Morse, 52, of Plassey Street, Penarth, admitted committing the offence in the town on September 3, 2020. At Cardiff Magistrates’ Court, he was made the subject of a six-week electronically monitored curfew between 7pm and 7am. Morse was also ordered to complete a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement. He must pay £180 in costs and a surcharge.
