Cumberland County Schools - 43% of its 8,000 full-time and part-time employees have been vaccinated. At this rate, Director Of Health Services Shirley Bolden believes every employee who wants a vaccine will get one before their March 15 in-person start date.
Durham Public Schools officials tell Eyewitness News 422 doses were given out to employees on Thursday.
Johnston County has vaccinated more than 2,000 of their more than 5,000 staff.

Cardinal Gibbons still playing for volleyball state title after school moves to virtual learning

Raleigh, N.C. Cardinal Gibbons High School announced on Thursday evening that it was moving to a fully virtual learning platform for two weeks at the recommendation of the Wake County Department of Health.
According to a letter sent to Cardinal Gibbons families, three additional cases of COVID-19 have been identified at the school two students and one staff member. There has been transmission between members of the Cardinal Gibbons community and another school in the Diocses.

CLEMSON, S.C. Upon the opening of the early signing period on Wednesday, a total of 18 players signed National Letters of Intent to play football at Clemson. The early signing period will conclude on Friday, Dec. 18, prior to National Signing Day on Feb. 3, 2021.
