PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. – Travis Rudolph, the former Florida State football star who spent a brief time in the NFL, has been accused of murder in Palm Beach County.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office announced that Rudolph, 25, was arrested Wednesday morning in connection to an overnight double-shooting in Lake Park.
Rudolph will face charges of first-degree murder with a firearm and attempted first-degree murder with a firearm, authorities said.

25-year old Travis Rudolph, a graduate of Cardinal Newman High School, made headlines in 2016 when he befriended a boy with autism during lunch at a Tallahassee middle school.
Five years later, Rudolph is behind bars for shooting at four people.
Palm Beach County Sheriff s deputies responded to a call of shots fired near the intersection of Northlake Boulevard and U.S. 1 in Lake Park just past midnight Wednesday morning and discovered a person with gunshot wounds.
They later found a second man who had been shot to death in West Palm Beach.
