In District 8, Legislator David McKenna is not running for re-election this year. Randy Brown, who’s currently on the Town of Newfield Planning Board, is running as a Republican.
Enfield Councilperson Bob Lynch announced Wednesday he’s running, calling himself an “unapologetic centrist.”
On the Democratic side, Vanessa Greenlee has thrown her name into the race. Greenlee serves now as deputy director of the Cornell Alliance for Science. District 8 represents Newfield and part of Enfield.
