Father Drew rape trial delayed again New allegations against priest facing rape trial: court docs By Jennifer Edwards Baker | April 23, 2021 at 9:26 AM EDT - Updated April 23 at 11:18 AM CINCINNATI (FOX19) - The trial for a Cincinnati-area priest accused of raping a 10-year-old altar boy three decades ago is being delayed again, FOX19 NOW has confirmed. This the third time the trial of Father Geoff Drew, 59, has been postponed in the past 14 months, court records show. He has pleaded not guilty to nine counts of rape and faces life in prison if convicted. Father Drew’s trial was delayed as well last fall, on Oct. 13, 2020, to Monday at the request of both prosecutors and Drew’s defense attorney, Brad Moermond.
