The following calls were responded to by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department between March 1 and March 8.
On Monday, March 8 at about 9:54 a.m. Deputy Marvin Simpson received a phone call from Lt. Pete Bastardo. This was in regard to unwanted subject. The address of the call was unknown at the time. Upon meeting with the complaint, deputies were advised the address was CR 270. The complainant stated his step-grandson was no longer wanted at the property for multiple reasons. Deputies made contact with the step-grandson at the back residence on the property. Deputy Simpson advised the step-grandson the complainant would like him to leave the property. The step-grandson willingly and on his own free will left the property. Deputy Simpson transported the step-grandson to the Royal Inn. Deputy Simpson issued a Criminal Trespass Warning to the step-grandson, by request of the complaint.

On Wednesday, Dec. 30 at approximately 10:17 p.m. Deputy Nicolas A. Wood responded to the 8000 block of FM 45 S in Brownwood. This was in reference to a vehicle, which was left abandoned in the roadway.
On Wednesday, Dec. 30, Deputy Saydie Bradley took a report of Unlawful Disclosure or Promotion of Intimate Visual Material. On Thursday, Dec. 31 at about 1:46 p.m.Deputy Byron Langley arrived at Blarney Dr. in Brownwood. This was in regard to criminal mischief. Langley spoke to a victim who stated he believes his neighbor shot the front window and driver side window of his vehicle.
On Thursday, Dec. 31, Lt. Pete Bastardo spoke with an individual in regard to missing documents from her residence. Information was gathered for a report.

On Tuesday, December 22, at about 11:33 hours, Lt. Pete Bastardo was dispatched to High Mesa in regards to theft. After speaking with the victim, it was discovered a burglary of building had occurred. A report was taken with no suspects to list.
On Wednesday, December 23, at about 13:48 hours, Deputy Simpson took a phone call in regards to illegal dumping. The complainant stated trash was on both sides of the county road and is flying on to other people’s properties. Deputy Simpson went to County Road 178 in Bangs to investigate the claim. A report was made for illegal dumping.
On Tuesday, Dec. 22 at about 11:33 a.m., Lt. Pete Bastardo was dispatched to High Mesa. This was in regard to theft. After speaking with the victim, Larry Newman, it was discovered a burglary of building had occurred. A report was taken with no suspects to list.
On Wednesday, Dec. 23 at about 1:48 p.m. Deputy Marvin Simpson took a phone call in regard to illegal dumping.
