THE case of a man who admitted smashing a woman s window and assaulting her has been adjourned. Andrew William Sherburn, 46, of the Nook at Tanglewood Caravan Park in Silloth, admitted the charges at Carlisle Magistrates Court on Saturday. The case related to an incident on June 26 at Workington. He was remanded on bail until July 19 while a pre-sentence report is prepared. Until then, he must not contact the witness or enter Workington, apart from to attend court for his sentencing.
