Seven Harrison High School band students have been named to the 2021 District 12 Honor Band.
Achieving Honor Band recognition in 2021 from Harrison Bands are:
Ainsley Collier, Clarinet, Sophomore
Claire Herring , Flute, Senior
Alex Thrash, Clarinet, Junior
Wesley Wilder, Tenor Sax, Junior
The District 12 Honor Band is comprised of musicians from throughout the region with highly developed individual skills and whose musicianship is evaluated in a comprehensive audition process.

"Achieving Honor Band status is an outstanding accomplishment for these incredibly talented and dedicated musicians," said Josh Ray, Director of Bands at Harrison High School. "We're extremely proud of their achievements and their representation of the Harrison Bands program. We wish them well as they progress to All-State auditions."

COLUMBIANA– The Crestview theater program will present “Sister Act” March 19-21 in the Performing Arts Center. Show times are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $12 and can be reserved at www.crestviewrebels.org. Presale ticketing ends at midnight March 18. In-person ticket sales are 5-7 p.m. March 1-7 at the PAC. Reserve tickets may also be picked up and paid for at these times. All health and safety guidelines will be followed.

Hope College Wind Ensemble to Perform March 5 The Hope College Wind Ensemble will perform on Friday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m. The concert can be viewed online at hope.edu/live.
Out of an abundance of caution due to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no in-person audience.
The program will include “At Morning’s First Light,” by David Gillingham; “Stomping Grounds,” by Carl Holmquist; “Brass Cats,” by Chris Hazell; “Immovable Do,” by Percy Grainger; “Vesuvius,” by Frank Ticheli; “Petite Symphonie,” by Charles Gounod; “Exsultate Deo,” by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina; and “Masques,” by Anne McGinty.
