The notion that New Zealand is pluckily - or foolishly – punching above its weight in the march towards carbon neutrality by the year 2050 seems entirely deluded. Either way though, the idea seems too useful for the politicians to surrender it willingly. .

Climate Change Minister James Shaw says Māori will be a critical part of efforts to reduce New Zealand s greenhouse gas emissions.
The Climate Change Commission today released its blueprint for cutting emissions over the next 15 years, which will affect the ways every New Zealander will live and work.
