This was the sentiment shared by iTaukei Affairs Board CEO Josefa Toganivalu during a virtual COVID-19 awareness discussion. He appealed to all iTaukei people to adhere to the COVID-safe protocols to safeguard their families and communities. Mr Toganivalu said despite advisories and reminders, people were still gathering and visiting relatives. He said the Delta variant was easily transmitted and should not be taken lightly. Mr Toganivalu also appealed to those consuming yaqona to do so within their bubbles.
