Jonathan Menard, 35, from Texas, has been charged with tampering with evidence in the death of his pregnant girlfriend, 33-year-old Kayla Rice, whose body was found in Louisiana last month.

WACO, TX â The McLennan County Sheriff s Office, in a combined effort with multiple agencies, made seven arrests as part of a large burglary investigation.
About 28 cases have now been solved, according to MCSO.
The arrested individuals were identified as Justin Holt, 31, Kyle Holt, 29, Kacee French, 30, Robert Eakin, 27, Andrea Muniz 28, Nicholas Lobban, 24 and Angel Jaimes, 25.
The charges include burglary of a habitation, burglary of a building, credit card abuse, theft of property over $2,5000, theft of a vehicle, engaging in organized criminal activity and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - A local youth pastor and community college instructor has been arrested for indecent behavior with a juvenile.
Alex Thunder John, 32, of Lake Charles, was the youth minister at Waters Edge. He is also listed as an adjunct instructor in the Digital Arts and Communication department at SOWELA.
John was arrested Thursday afternoon on one count of indecent behavior with juveniles, according to the Calcasieu Correctional Center booking report.

VINTON, La. (KPLC) - The Calcasieu Parish Sheriffâs Office is searching for two individuals suspected of armed robbery at a convenience store in Vinton Sunday morning.
According to CPSO spokesperson Kayla Vincent, On February 21, at approximately 4 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a convenience store in Vinton in reference to an armed robbery.
The preliminary investigation revealed an unknown suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene. After further investigation it was also learned a woman, who had entered the store a short time earlier, was also involved in the robbery, according to Vincent.
