A Chesapeake Beach woman is dead and a Dunkirk man is in custody after a three-vehicle collision in Owings last week.
According to a Calvert County Sheriffâs Office release, shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, members of the agencyâs Patrol Bureau and Crash Reconstruction Unit were dispatched to the scene of the collision in the area of Route 260 and Journey Drive in Owings.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2005 Hyundai Elantra, operated by Christopher Fuller, 34 of Dunkirk, was traveling west on Route 260 when it struck a 2012 Ford Escape operated by Kerri Lyn Clark, 50, of Chesapeake Beach. Police reported the Ford Escape was then pushed across the center line into a 2013 Hyundai CR-V, which operated by an adult female.

The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of Angelina Maylee Corbin, age 15 of Lusby, Md.
Corbin is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 120 lbs., brown hair that has been dyed red with brown eyes, and braces. Last seen on 12/15/2020 wearing gray sweatpants and sandals.

The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of missing juvenile, Donovan English.
Donovan is a 16-year-old male, approx. 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 160-170 lbs. He was last seen on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 on foot in the Prince Frederick, MD area. Donovan was wearing gray “jogger”-style pants and a black sweatshirt with a distressed American flag on the back.

White Plains man turns himself in for shooting
A 20-year-old has been arrested in connection with a shooting on Tuesday, Dec. 15, which sent a woman to the hospital.
Officers became aware of the alleged shooting at about 2 a.m. when a woman had arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, a release from the Charles County Sheriffâs Office says.
Investigators later determined the shooting occurred off Frazier Road in Bryans Road, and obtained an arrest warrant for Antonio Lamar Carter, 20, of White Plains.
Carter turned himself in last Thursday, Dec. 17, the release says, and was charged with first-degree assault as well as reckless endangerment. He was released after a family member from Lexington Park posted $10,000 in cash bail, court records say.
