Serving as a greeting for the upcoming Lunar New Year, the new gameplay trailer includes an exclusive look at potential locations and enemy types. From the trailer, it looks like players may be able to transform from the titular Wukong into a number of lightning-splitting rats, and what appears to be a rock golem that deflects arrow attacks.
The developer has stated in the clip, however, that the video was specially made for seasonal greetings, and is not indicative of the final game or its plot.

Framestore has anounced the Framestore Unreal Shot Engine (FUSE) project, which aims to create a film entirely using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine.
Using a new VFX pipeline built around the technology, the project aims to progress from earliest concept through to final pixel using only the large-scale pipeline.
Directed by Oscar-winning chief creative officer Tim Webber, the film will also allow Framestore to create, stress-test and develop features which will feed back into Epic’s Unreal Engine, contributing to the wider VFX and engine communities as they adopt the technology.

The complaint, filed with the U.K. antitrust tribunal and made public Thursday, claims that Apple s move to pull Fortnite from the App Store was unlawful. It also alleges that Apple abused its dominant position,
Epic makes three specific claims of anti-competitive practices in the filing: Apple reserving itself as the sole channel for app distribution on iOS; using its dominant position to charge unfair prices for distribution; and Apple s response to Epic s introduction of price competition.

Said team would be using Unreal Engine, the games engine from Fortnite maker Epic Games, in which Sony Corporationacquired a minority stake last July, making a strategic investment of $250 million.

Today (January 12), Sony Corporation of America has announced a new subsidiary called Sony Immersive Music Studios, which is focused on “developing immersive music experiences through the power of creativity and technology”.
The division is led by digital entertainment veteran Brad Spahr, who according to Sony is “an award-winning developer of next-generation experiences at the intersection of music, immersive reality, and gaming”.
