Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir), February 3 (ANI): At a seminar of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Baseer Ahmad Khan, advisor to Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, said there is a need to synchronise and calibrate efforts of all stakeholders to revitalise the rural economy.
On the occasion, the advisor unveiled a concept paper prepared by NABARD on the credit potential estimation of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The paper is titled Collectivisation of agricultural produce for enhancing farmer s income estimates the total credit potential to priority sectors in J&K at Rs 35583.25 crore.

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), January 13 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha on Wednesday visited the family of a slain goldsmith, Satpal Nischal, who was killed by terrorists at his shop in Srinagar, a few days ago, and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members.
Lt Governor said that a high-level investigation has already been initiated and assured the family members that culprits involved in this heinous act of violence will be brought to justice very soon.

Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], January 9 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha on Friday called for creating a robust ecosystem to promote the young talents of union territory underscoring that 70 per cent of the population is below the age of 35 years which is capable of producing nectar of growth and development.
Speaking at the 24th National Youth Festival at Teachers Bhawan in Jammu, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Lieutenant Governor said that the aim of the programme is to provide a platform to bring the youth of the country together, give them opportunities to showcase their talents in various activities and promote the spirit of communal harmony and brotherhood among them.
