Security video shows vandal strike secure lock system with ax, then smash the glass door leading to Hoeven s office
No one was at the office at the time of the ax attack, and staff discovered the vandalism on Monday morning
Fargo police have since identify the suspect and sent their report to prosecutor for possible charges

FARGO (KFGO) – Police have identified a man who they say used an axe to smash windows at the entrance of Sen. John Hoeven’s office in the skyway in downtown Fargo. The man also struck the secure lock-system with the axe. He was identified from security video in the skyway.
The Cass County State’s Attorneys Office will review the police report and determine charges.
The damage was reported Monday morning.

The man calmly walks up a set of stairs around 9 a.m. before turning toward the Fargo office of U.S. Senator John Hoevens. He then begins repeatedly swinging the ax toward the door eventually smashing the window.
After the window is removed, the man turns around, and leaves the building back down the stairs.
