A toddler was killed in northern Minnesota when her allegedly drunk uncle backed over her while leaving her house in an SUV, according to criminal charges filed in Cass County District Court.
Anthony J. Goose, 28, of Walker, Minnesota, has been charged with with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide – one for being under the influence of alcohol and another for fleeing the scene of the collision.
Goose has also been charged for driving without a license. His was revoked after a December 2020 DWI offense.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A Minnesota woman was charged Monday after witnesses say she drove over several graves at a Fargo cemetery and nearly hit two people attending a burial.
Fargo police said the incident happened Saturday at Riverside Cemetery. Blair Whitten, of Barnesville, Minnesota, is charged in Cass County District Court with misdemeanor reckless endangerment.
“Multiple complainants reported Whitten was driving her vehicle, inside the cemetery, in a manner with extreme indifference for human life which created substantial risk of serious bodily injury to persons in the cemetery,” police spokeswoman Jessica Schindeldecker said.

FARGO Fargo police said on Thursday, April 29, that two juveniles, a 15-year-old female and a 16-year-old male, have been referred to juvenile court for possible charges in connection with one of two recent arson incidents at the former Mid America Steel plant in downtown Fargo.
Police said the juveniles are suspected of involvement in an April 11 fire that damaged an outbuilding at the former Mid America Steel property.
