Cody Raymond Plumlee, 28, entered the not guilty pleas to multiple charges, including a Class AA felony of murder, in Cass County District Court. Prosecutors alleged he broke into an apartment at 702 26th St. N. on Dec. 7 and shoved his girlfriend Kirsten Knaus. She fell down the stairs, resulting in injuries that knocked her unconscious, according to court documents.
After being put on life-support, she died in December, according to court documents. The murder charge was added to Plumlee s case last week.
Plumlee told police he thought Knaus had the keys to his apartment, but he said he realized he had the keys after kicking in the door, court documents alleged.

FARGO A 22-year-old has admitted that he killed two people while driving drunk last year in Fargo.
Henry Zweh Kulor pleaded guilty on Monday, Feb. 8, in Cass County District Court to two Class A felonies of criminal vehicular homicide, one each for the deaths of Roseau, Minn., resident Pierce James Kvien, 22, and 25-year-old Wein Zelee, also of Fargo.

FARGO A federal grand jury has indicted Harleigh J. Haugen, 20, and Jordan D. Kraft, 21, both Fargo, on charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and robbery.
The Indictment alleges that from May through June of 2019, Haugen and Kraft conspired with a group of young males and females to rob customers of commercial sex, according to a Monday, Nov. 2, announcement from U.S. Attorney for North Dakota Drew Wrigley.
According to information provided by Wrigley s office:
Haugen and Kraft and others posted ads promoting prostitution with adult women. The defendants sought to take advantage of a group of commercial sex customers whom they believed would be unwilling to go to law enforcement if they were robbed.

FARGO A Horace, N.D., man accused of barricading himself in a car trunk this weekend in Fargo said he felt threatened by the officer who initially stopped him before he allegedly fled police, adding he accidentally locked himself in his trunk while trying to grab blankets to stay warm during the hourslong standoff, according to court documents.

FARGO (KVRR) – The first trial held in connection with last year’s downtown Fargo riot has ended with acquittals.
A Cass County District Court jury found 24-year-old Negasi Behre “not guilty” of engaging in a riot and preventing arrest.
Behre was arrested May 30 during a clash between protesters and dozens of law enforcement officers, who had formed a line downtown on 1st Avenue North.
Three Fargo police officers who were on scene testified that they were ordered to arrest Behre after he had been walking, shouting and pumping his fist near the police line, but none of the officers could recall specifically what Behre had said.
