FARGO Three days before Robert Paulsen stood in front of a crowd of nearly 100 people during a public service remembering his 14-year-old daughter, he asked the minister for more than three minutes to speak about her death.

WEST FARGO Lt. Adam Gustafson was working his regular shift Tuesday, May 18, but he hadn t been feeling well and decided it would be best to go home and rest.
The 40-year-old family man and 10-year veteran of the West Fargo Police Department never made it home. He suffered a medical emergency at the police station and was rushed to Sanford Emergency Medical Center where he later died.

FARGO (KVRR) – Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner says the death of a West Fargo police officer who died of a medical emergency while on duty Tuesday is “a significant loss for our community and law enforcement in our region.”
“The Cass County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to Lieutenant Adam Gustafson’s family and the West Fargo Police Department. I have had the opportunity to work with Lieutenant Gustafson over the years, and he always had the best interest of the West Fargo Citizens and West Fargo Police Department in mind” Jahner said.
