04:24 EDT, 11 February 2021 A Mercedes driver allegedly veered into oncoming traffic as he was pursued by police for 60km along a major highway before he crashed into officers. Andrew Bell, 26, allegedly sped off after police tried to pull him over on the Pacific Highway near Murrays Beach on the NSW Central Coast at 11am on Thursday. Bell allegedly attempted a U-turn but crashed into two police cars at the M1 motorway s Kariong exit near Gosford about 11.32am, when he was arrested. Date Time Second man charged after woman detained – Wolli Creek A second man has been charged after a woman was allegedly detained and her home ransacked in Wolli Creek earlier this week. About 5.30pm on Wednesday (27 January 2021), a 22-year-old woman was allegedly approached by two men as she left a Wolli Creek supermarket. The men allegedly threatened her before forcing her to take them to her Levey Street unit, where they ransacked the home and stole a number of items. The woman was able to contact a friend, and police were informed and attended the unit block. Officers from St George Police Area Command located the men and woman in the foyer and arrested a 37-year-old man.

Date Time Police charge man after police car rammed; officer injured – Central Coast A man has been charged after allegedly ramming a police vehicle and injuring an officer during a pursuit on the Central Coast this morning. Shortly before 4.45am (Monday 25 January 2021), officers from Brisbane Water Police District noticed a Holden Commodore conducting burnouts near the intersection of Henry Parry Drive and the Pacific Highway, Wyoming, and attempted to stop the vehicle. When it allegedly failed to stop, a pursuit commenced. During the pursuit, it’s alleged the Holden rammed the marked police vehicle several times, causing extensive damage to the driver’s side.
