The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) reported 109 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 during their 3 pm Monday, May 24 update. The WDH does not provide COVID-19 data updates over the weekend. There have now been 50,428 confirmed cases in Wyoming since the pandemic began. Probable cases rose by 28 on Monday to a total of 9,369 COVID-19 hospitalizations statewide jumped to 58 on Monday, up from 44 on Sunday, according to the WDH. That’s the highest number of COVID-19 patients in Wyoming hospitals since Jan. 29 and the first time the state has had more than 50 COVID-19 hospital patients since Feb. 2.
