After a soul-crushing lose to the Kansas City Chiefs for the 2021 AFC Championship on Sunday (January 24th, 2021), quarterback Josh Allen displayed awesome leadership to his fellow teammates.
ESPN posted a video yesterday (January 25th, 2021), to their official Facebook page showing Allen hugging each of his teammates, along with a caption that read:
Josh Allen went out of his way to comfort his teammates after the Buffalo Bills loss on Sunday.
Leadership
Allen has been a long time Cowboy State favorite. The University of Wyoming graduate had an excellent NFL season, despite Sunday s loss. He threw for a total of 4544 yards and had a completion percentage of 69.23%.
The wind blew cold and the participants in the annual Martin Luther King Day/Equality Day events remembered those less fortunate than themselves, even without the annual march and service at First United Methodist Church.
Vicki Pollock was among those who donated coats for Project Homeless Connect in the parking lot between the Wyoming Food for Thought Project and the James Reeb Memorial Park.
Pollock handed them to volunteer Janet deVries, whose SUV was already stuffed with coats collected during the day.
The donations were part of the alternative to the annual march canceled due to COVID-19.
But changes wrought by the pandemic spurred some creativity.
There have often been complaints about Cowboy State drivers, whether they re from here, transplants or folks that just don t know how to drive during our winter conditions. Well here s some good news: Wyoming is
NOT the worst state to drive in. Matter of fact, we re not even among the worst. That being said, we re nowhere near the best either. We re pretty much dead center.
A new study conducted by credit website, WalletHub, shows that Wyoming is ranked 24th overall on their list of best and worst states to drive in.
Wyoming was ranked very well for lowest percentage of rush hour traffic. As a matter of fact, we were in a 5-way tie with Alaska, Montana South Dakota and Vermont for the number one spot. Unfortunately we ranked 46th (out of 50), on states with the fewest auto-repair shops per capita. What also hurt us from ranking higher was our all around safety ranking (we ranked at an abysmal 42).
