There are some condos that have names that are just aptly named of what it represents. Be it luxurious, a resort-vibe, or a nature infused estate – that first impression is already built from the get-go.
But there are also those that are sleeper hits – the Alex Residences is one of them. With such a common name, you’d be forgiven for assuming that this is a run-of-the-mill condominium.
If anything, it is placed amongst competitors with really different names as well – The Echelon, Artra – names that evoke a sense of sophistication. So if you’d to compare just on the surface by its name, it does seem very tame in comparison.

SINGAPORE: Japanese restaurants in Tampines Mall and Parkway Parade as well as two dining outlets in Causeway Point were on Saturday (May 8) added to a list of public places visited by COVID-19 community cases during their infectious period.

SINGAPORE: A woman who was raped and molested by her older brother when she was a young girl developed traumatic symptoms that were triggered when she saw her brother lead a normal life by getting married and having a child.
This brings the total number of cases to 61,145.
Nine community cases
Amongst the new cases, nine are in the community and out of the nine, eight are linked to previous cases.
Cases 62621
She is a homemaker, and is the spouse of Case 62063.
Case 62622, a four-year-old girl, is their child.
As they had been identified as close contacts of 61993, they were placed on quarantine on April 15.
They were tested for Covid-19 infection during quarantine on April 16, and both their tests were negative.
They developed acute respiratory infection (ARI) symptoms on April 28, and were tested again after reporting their symptoms.
This time, their test results came back positive for Covid-19 infection on April 29 and they were conveyed to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

SINGAPORE: Shopping mall Causeway Point and Woodlands North Plaza were on Friday (Apr 30) added to the Ministry of Health s (MOH) list of public places visited by COVID-19 community cases during their infectious period.
Also on the list is a Sheng Siong supermarket on Geylang Road and the Prime supermarket at Block 768 Woodlands Avenue 6.

Additional locations within VivoCity and E!Hub @ Downtown East, which were added to the list on Thursday, were also visited by community cases.
