UK Sales Charts: NieR Replicant Has Fantastic Debut in First Place

Blimey, not only is NieR Replicant a great game, but it s also done pretty well for itself in the latest UK sales chart. The remastered experience from Yoko Taro forces FIFA 21 out of the top spot and claims it for its own. The rest of the top 10 is very much business as usual Nintendo Switch exclusives dominate the run in while Grand Theft Auto V keeps on cropping up but this must surely be great news for Square Enix and co. There s also room for the controversial Cyberpunk 2077, which rounds out the top 10 in last place.

UK Sales Charts: Spider-Man: Miles Morales Remains Sony s Hero in the Top 10

The UK s physical game sales for the week are in, and it s Marvel s Spider-Man: Miles Morales doing the business for Sony yet again. It appears as though this performance was driven by replenished PlayStation 5 stock, as the game sold 83 per cent of its copies on the new console. It remains in second place.
Outside of the top 10, Demon s Souls is on the rise, jumping from 21st to 17th, and the PS5 version of Yakuza: Like a Dragon sees it re-enter the top 40 in, er, 35th.

UK Sales Charts: Hitman 3 Physical Sales Exceed Hitman 2, 49% of Sales on PS5

Hitman 3 shattered a series record in the digital sphere, and it’s also topped the UK sales charts, which tracks physical units only. In terms of boxed copies, the IO Interactive sequel outpaced its predecessor by 17 per cent, and 49 per cent of all sales were for the PlayStation 5 version. Meanwhile, the PlayStation 4 edition accounted for 25 per cent, with Xbox left to mop up the rest.
With fresh supply of
PS5 stock hitting the retail channel this week, various next-gen titles enjoyed an enormous bump. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales jumped from 12th position into 4th place, while both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla experienced big bumps, propelled by the PS5. In fact, overall PS5 software enjoyed a 324 per cent increase week-over-week.
