Dr Kieran Moore provides COVID vaccine update

/ Napanee Today Apr 28, 2021 8:30 AM Over 30,000 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is expected in KFL&A during the month of May. Dr. Kieran Moore, Medical Officer of Health with KFL&A Public Health, says this is about what he expected. He says he’ll always take more doses, but that this is good news for our community. The Pfizer vaccines will continue to be distributed through KFL&A Public Health’s partners, such as the Strathcona Paper Centre, Kingston Community health Centre, Kingston Health Sciences Centre, the Invista Centre and some other primary care partners. Currently, Public Health is receiving a baseline of 4000 doses per week of the vaccine.
