KEITH WILSON, to pay $3350 in compensation Social Share A 46-YEAR-OLD man who stole six goats, and later walked three of them to the butcher stall, will have to pay $3350 in compensation/ fine or spend nine months in prison. On May 15 in Grieggs, Keith Wilson stole one black ram goat, two white ram goats, two brown ewe goats and one white ewe goat, together valued at $2350, the property of their caretaker, Ralford Ranger of Richland Park. Ranger had reported these animals missing from his property in Grieggs, and on Sunday May 16, the police received a report that Wilson was seen walking with six goats in the Grieggs/Lauders area. The police went in search of him and the goats, and their search led them to a butcher stall. There they were informed that Wilson had brought three goats to the stall and walked away with the other three. The meat from the butchered animals was taken into custody, as was Wilson.

Buttocks of Canouan resident set on fire; one man charged

Social Share A matter wherein a man allegedly set another man’s buttocks on fire is set to go to trial in the Canouan Magistrate’s Court. The incident for which 33-year-old Canouan labourer Zorick Hepburn, is charged, allegedly occurred on May 8 at Granby, Canouan. “According to investigations, the accused man allegedly unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm(GBH) on a 32-years-old labourer of the same address by setting his buttocks on fire,” a police press release informed. Taken before Senior Magistrate Rickie Burnett at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court, Hepburn was charged for grievous bodily harm, as well as damage to property namely, Eliston Caine’s pants and boxers, together valued $EC 80.

Social Share The relationship between a niece and aunt has been left in tatters after one wielded a strong rum bottle at the other causing the need for stitches to the chest.    Rillan Hill resident Sandrene Browne’s position before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court (KMC) on, May 10, was not outwardly remorseful, and this was noted by Prosecutor Corporal Corlene Samuel.    “Right over her heart,” the prosecutor observed about one of the wounds Noreen Dottin of Fitz Hughes sustained, adding “It could have been worse”. That wound required three stitches to Dottin’s chest.    “Your honour, in all of it I am still not getting any remorse from her in a way, but she is saying ‘Oh I did this for her, I did that for her’ but that doesn’t give her the right to stab her,” the Prosecutor submitted.

Arnos Vale artiste conceals ganja in food packages Left to Right: Arresting officer Police Constable (PC) 243 Douglas carrying King’s baggage &  Shaquille King Social Share A 25-year-old caught attempting to catch a flight to Barbados with cannabis in his baggage, is revealed to have hidden some of the drug in Tortillaz, CRIX, and Mac n Cheese packages.   Shaquille King, an artiste from Arnos Vale/Walveroo, was caught at the Argyle International Airport (AIA) on Sunday, May 2, and subsequently charged with possession of six and a half pounds(2943g) of cannabis with intent to supply to another, having it in his possession for the purpose of drug trafficking, and that he did attempt to export the controlled substance.
