Dr. Mamdouh Dakhel Al-Ahmadi has been named chief of cardiovascular surgery of DMC Childrenâs Hospital of Michigan. He joins the hospital from King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadhm, Saudi Arabia, where he served as deputy director of the heart center and head of the section of cardiac surgery.
âI am honored and humbled by this appointment,â says Al-Ahmadi. âI appreciate the confidence placed in me to assist in leading this department at Childrenâs Hospital of Michigan, which is so critical to children and families in the city of Detroit and southeast Michigan.â
