The City of Milford Health Department (MHD) is currently partnering with the CT Department of Public Health to provide COVID-19 vaccine as it is available in accordance with State guidelines.
The MHD has held seven (7) COVID-19 vaccination clinics at the Parsons Government Complex Gymnasium since December when vaccine distribution began in Connecticut. Milford Health Department COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics operate on Wednesdays all day and Friday afternoons with registration through the Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS).

The week of January 11 UConn Health began vaccinating eligible individuals age 75 years or older under new phase 1b guidance of the CT Department of Public Health. In addition to fast online scheduling, eligible patients can call the COVID-19 Vaccine Scheduling Line at: 860-679-5589.

As we enter the holiday break, we wanted to share a few reminders and update you on the revised CT Travel Advisory and the changes in quarantine practices based on new guidance from the CDC and the CT Department of Public Health.
The “NEW” Connecticut Travel Advisory
The CDC advises travel increases your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19. Please stay home if you are sick or if you have been around someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days. Also, do not travel with someone who is sick. Please be advised that the Darien Public Schools must follow and enforce all state public health guidelines and mandates, which includes Governor Ned Lamont’s Executive Order regarding travel.
