SENECA, IL A 36-year-old man who lived in Galesburg died Sunday morning after authorities discovered his crash around 7 a.m. in Grundy County. The wreck happened near West Bluff Road and West Route 6 in the Seneca area.
An ambulance rushed the driver, Clarence Collier, to the emergency room at Morris Hospital where he was pronounced dead, the Grundy County Coroner s Office announced. Preliminary investigation shows the decedent was traveling on West Route 6, when for an unknown reason lost control of his vehicle. The death remains under investigation by Callahan s office, the Seneca Police Department and Grundy County Sheriff s Office, Sunday s news release stated.
