Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has dismissed “commentary” around the timeline to decide his future as the club’s on-field crisis deepens.
The Pies suffered their sixth loss of the season on Saturday afternoon, going down to Gold Coast by 24 points.
Buckley’s future is set to come under further scrutiny in the coming days, while several club officials remain steadfast that discussions on whether he ll coach the club in 2022 will ramp up later in the season.
The under-fire coach said both he and the club are “really clear” on the timeline to decide his future.

Collingwood CEO Mark Anderson has confirmed out of contract coach Nathan Buckley has yet to give an answer on whether he wants to lead the club beyond the 2021 season.
Buckleyâs position has become the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks, following the clubâs poor start to the season which has seen them win just one of the first six games.
The club great remains uncontracted beyond the end of the current campaign and Anderson said Buckley is âreally clearâ on only deciding his future later in the year.

UK motorists now have to pay 538 pounds ($747.01) on an average for their comprehensive car insurance premiums, according to the latest index from price comparison site Confused.com in association with insurance broker Willis Towers Watson.
“The impact of fewer drivers on the roads has led to fewer claims, which have allowed shoppers to see some of the biggest savings on their car insurance in almost six years,” Chief Executive Officer of Confused.com Louise O’Shea said in the survey report.
