Huyghebaert has also been charged with two additional counts of possession of a weapon while prohibited. An additional 42-year-old male from Grande Prairie has also been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking x 3. He is scheduled to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on Feb. 10, 2021.Huyghebaert and Gaudet are scheduled to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on Jan. 11, 2021.

On Dec. 11, 2020 Grande Prairie RCMP conducted an investigation into a fraudulent online transaction in which a subject used another person’s credit cards and identification documents to purchase items online.
Subsequent to the investigation on Dec. 14, 2020 Grande Prairie RCMP, with the assistance from Grande Prairie Crime Reduction Unit, and RCMP Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant at a residence in Grande Prairie. As a result, the following items were seized by police:

Identification, debt/credit cards, social insurance numbers belonging to other individuals
Laptops, scanners, ID lamination sheets, laminator, printer and photo paper believed to be used for creating documents
a loaded .22 Rifle
7 firearm magazines
a stolen debit/credit machine
just under $3,000 in cash
Leonard Huyghebaert, 50, and Carole Gaudet, 47, of Grande Prairie have both been charged with the following:

Two males have been arrested and drugs and cash seized by Grande Prairie RCMP cash following a drug trafficking investigation, which began this past September
The Grande Prairie RCMP Municipal Drug Unit, with the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS) and general duty members, executed search warrants on two residences in the Highland Park and Avondale neighbourhoods Nov. 14.

60.8 grams of powder and crack cocaine
196 Oxycodone pills
an electronic money counter
The two men, Quaddien Davis (26) of Mississauga, Ont., and Taurean Adams (28) of Edmonton, have both been charged with the following:

GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. – Grande Prairie RCMP have arrested and charged a male youth with numerous offences, following a drug trafficking investigation.
In the fall of 2020, Grande Prairie RCMP say they received information and tips from the public regarding the sale of illicit cannabis and other drugs. The RCMP Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit began a months-long drug trafficking investigation.
On November 27, the RCMP Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of RCMP General Duty, executed a search warrant on a residence in the Westpointe/ Pinnacle neighbourhood.
The search resulted in the seizure of the following:
561 grams illicit cannabis marihuana
