As of Sunday, just over 3,102 Tulare County residents had been vaccinated, according to Timothy Lutz, Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency Director. That s a vaccination rate of about 22% rate, below the already low state average of 30%.
EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - During both the South Lake Tahoe City Council meeting and the El Dorado County Board of Supervisor meetings on January 5, questions were asked of the health care professionals as to when the public can expect to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
Barton Hospital President/CEO Dr. Clint Purvance told the Council that over 60 percent of the hospital s top tier have been vaccinated and they will be receiving their second round Tuesday or Wednesday. He said they have seen some minor reactions such as a sore are, but nothing different than what the studies showed on test groups.
