Alleged hare courser arrested after pursuit from Chatteris  | Updated: 17:27, 27 December 2020 Cambridgeshire Police s Rural Crime Action Team arrested a driver after a 10-mile pursuit yesterday (Saturday). They spotted the Subaru, which was linked to hare coursing, in Chatteris but it failed to stop. After a 10 mile pursuit it was successfully stopped and the driver arrested for multiple offences and the vehicle seized. Gallery1

Hall went on to withdraw his appeal last month (November 2020) and Smith was found guilty by Peterborough magistrates on December 17.

County ban for trio of hare courses who tried to outsmart police in Benwick  | Updated: 09:22, 16 December 2020 Three hare coursers found themselves banned from Cambridgeshire after being caught by members of the county s Rural Crime Action Team. The trio were cornered in Benwick after they tried to outsmart police by pulling on to a private driveway at a property in Benwick yesterday (Tuesday). Posting on their Facebook page together with images of the men with their faces blurred out Fenland Police said: These three gentlemen tried to outsmart one of our Rural Crime Action Team today in Benwick. Three men have been issued with dispersal orders banning them from entering Cambridgeshire. (43582936)
