Records show one of Mr Kestelman’s companies, LKPG SPV3, put a caveat on the low-rise warehouse in November.

When the coronavirus put a halt to many of the library’s in-person activities, Margot Still, history branch manager, started looking at other ways of engaging residents in local history and the History Branch of the Cleveland Bradley County Public Library.
Although the History Branch had been sharing online activities on Facebook since 2016, its offerings began to expand.
One of its newest features is short documentaries on people and organizations in the community. Another focus is its Unknown but not Forgotten photos. They also may have a photo sparking interest and talk about a local building, road or place.

Current zoning allows U-Haul to use the interior of the former Kmart building for retail sales, but rezoning would be necessary for fleet rentals and self-storage.
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) Chagrin over the proposed use of the former Kmart building on the South Side as a U-Haul facility surfaced at the La Crosse City Council meeting Thursday night, with Mayor Tim Kabat describing the plan as “a shame.”
Council member Doug Happel raised the issue, saying constituents have peppered him with questions about the proposal since the U-Haul Company of Southwestern Wisconsin and Rockford announced its plans for the building last week.
