Man accused of rape and kidnap appears in court for the first time

A Cleethorpes man charged with rape, kidnap, theft and assault has made his first court appearance.
Michael Bramley, 40, of Daubney Street, was charged with three counts of rape, false imprisonment, two counts of theft and grievous bodily harm following an incident on the Willows estate in Grimsby between March 31 and April 1.
The alleged theft of £300 and a car is said to have happened between March 30 and April 2.
At the time, Humberside Police said: A 40-year-old man from Grimsby has been charged with a number of serious offences following his arrest on 6 April.
